About Us
Sonoma County Adult
Coed Soccer League is a
recreational outdoor coed soccer league in Sonoma County, northern
California. The league starts during March
and we play until the end of June/July. Most of our games are scheduled for
Saturdays in parks such as Galvin (Santa Rosa), Forestville Elementary
School (Forestville), Wiseman (Petaluma), Kenilworth
(Petaluma), Sunrise (Rohnert Park) and others.
We
are a non-profit organization and our league fees pay for field insurances,
referees, field marking, website, line marking equipment, paint and others.
In order to keep an even level of competition, we divide the teams
into three division:

Division A. Most
players are experienced players. |

Division B. For intermediate teams. |
|
Division C. For new
teams or teams with some beginner players. |
We have teams from Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Forestville, Sonoma, Rohnert
Park, Sebastopol, Healdsburg, and other cities within Sonoma County.
The league is for men over 30* years of age and women over
18 years of age.

All rules based
upon the present USSF/FIFA Laws of the Game unless specifically mentioned
in the following:
Rules
of the Game:
Five
touch rule will be enforced.
No
charging of the goalies. This will be enforced.
Passes
by feet to goal keepers cannot be picked up by goalie - Current FIFA Rule.
No
slide tackling.
Woman's goal is worth 2 points.
Man’s
goal is worth 1 point.
Penalty kicks are worth one point unless a woman was fouled in the penalty
box, and then it is worth two points, if scored.
Home
team is listed first on game schedule.
Number of Players:
Rosters shall have only 22 players.
Player
passes are mandatory for all players to play. NO PASS, NO PLAY, NO
EXCEPTIONS. NO ADDITIONS ON GAME DAY. |
