Minutes of Meeting
Feb 10th 2008
Call to Order
President Antonio Rosales called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. at Round
Table Pizza on Marlow Road.
Teams Present
Present: Black Oaks, Bushwhackers, Sonoma United, Forestville United, Shockers,
Outer Limits, Norcal F.C., Outsiders, Felinos (formerly Yellow Jackets),
Underdogs (new), Fuzzy Navels (new)
Approval of Minutes
The January minutes were reviewed and approved.
Reports of Officers and Committees
Antonio Rosales, President: Nothing to report really. Couple positions still
vacant last meeting. But Dave Wilson volunteered for Registrar. Approved 11 to
0. Hector Roman willing to do it again. Approved 11 to 1.
Joe Verdu, Vice-president: Nothing to report. (Ignored pizza.)
Luis Medina, Scheduler & Webmaster: Have 14 teams, can do the schedule pretty
quickly. Will rank teams per last season. Reserved Trione fields for first three
weekends of season, four games per weekend. (Two games at 8:30, two at 10:30.)
Remainder of teams will play at Wilson fields those weekends. Need insurance
from Brain Aicega still.
Brian Aicega, Treasurer: Absent. But sent in report.
Treasurer - The proof of insurance should arrive soon and it will be forwarded
out as soon as it arrives.
Galvin field - Field fees are going up to $7 per field per hour (it was $5.)
Luchessi/Wiseman - Luis had already booked the fields so I did not reserve these
for us.
Dave Wilson, Registrar: New teams, need all your stuff. Existing teams need
player passes from last year, but still must submit new waivers every year. New
players need copy of driver’s license and photo. Please submit clear, color
photos. Not smeared. No black & white photos. Make sure the players sign waiver
form in both places. Managers, you don’t have to submit whole roster at once.
Can add more later. Can add/drop players up thru Thurs. Friday not guaranteed,
but you can try. Can call Dave any reasonable hour. Usually waives the $5
add/drop fee. But please do not ask to add/drop the same player twice in one
year.
Disciplinary Committee: There are four outstanding red cards from last
year. Players still need to pay fines and sit out their games. Brian Aicega
knows who they are.
Old Business
How should we handle counting the ballots? How many people should count? Antonio
offered to do it. He’ll tally and pass info to Luis and Sarah.
Suggestion made last year to have league nets and cones that get passed from
team to team. Do we want to do it? Dave Wilson says, saves time, but $50/ea x 14
is a lot.
Volunteers: 4-5 teams would donate their nets. Table until next meeting when we
talk to Treasurer and price nets.
New Business
Two new teams. Underdogs are lowest division. Fuzzy Navels in upper division.

If you know of any refs, tell Hector. Hector and Rolf to run a start-up meeting
with all refs before season starts. Scenarios and how they’d react. Managers,
feel free to give Hector input for the meeting, too. Meeting will be Sunday
March 9th, 6:30 PM, here. Hector will be given $50 for pizza and drinks.
For make-up games, don’t forget to contact Hector to set up referee.

Next scheduled meeting: Sunday March 2nd at the Round Table Pizza on Marlow (at
Guerneville Road, in the Safeway shopping center) at 6:30 p.m.
