Minutes of Meeting—Feb 13^th 2005

Call to Order

President Justin Connor called the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. at Round Table Pizza on Marlow Road.

Teams Present

Present: Anarchy, Black Oaks, Bushwhackers, Empire F.C., Forestville Kixx, Forestville United, Habaneros, Just for Fun, Outer Limits, Outsiders, Salsa, Shockers, Sonoma Mercury, Sonoma United

Approval of Minutes

The Jan minutes were approved (I think).

Reports of Officers and Committees

Justin Connor, President: Nothing to report.

Antonio Rosales, Vice President: Absent.

Tony Mazzola, Treasurer: $823 left in account. Can’t spend any money until money from registration comes in.

Dave Wilson, Registrar: Teams to turn in registration packages tonight. Don’t worry if they are incomplete. Just contact Dave directly over course of next month to finish up. (See contact info below.)

Kara Gilman, Field Coordinator: Still looking into available fields. Possibility of Piner High School all-weather field. Galvin and Wiseman are on the list. Kenwood field is not available.

Brian Peddinghaus, Referee Coordinator: Got list of 40 refs from Tony. Called all. About 7 are willing to ref. Still looking for more refs if anyone has any names to give Brian. Reminded teams get cones and corner flags for fields. Refs are paid $40/game, and they are paid twice per year, not per-game.

Old Business

None.

New Business

Justin Connor suggested that we might want to hold Kick Around on Memorial Day weekend so that we might get a better turn-out.

Dave Wilson mentioned a Labor Day tournament in Fort Bragg that we could send a few players from each team to.

It was mentioned that the soccer complex at the old Agilent compound in Rohnert Park may be available to us. Tony Mazzola to contact someone who knows more about it.

First game of the season will be Saturday March 19^th.
