Minutes
of Meeting—April 3d 2005
Call
to Order Vice-President Antonio Rosales called the
meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. at Round Table Pizza on Marlow Road. President
Justin Connor was absent.
Teams
Present Present:
Black Oaks, Bushwhackers, Empire F.C., Forestville Kixx, Forestville United,
Habaneros, Just for Fun, Maximum Force, Outsiders, Red Barons, Shockers
Approval
of Minutes The March minutes were approved.
Reports
of Officers and Committees Justin
Connor, President: Absent.
Antonio
Rosales, Vice President: Nothing to report.
Tony
Mazzola, Treasurer: Absent, but sent message saying
that all checks had been deposited and the grand total in the account was now
$10,400. He also sent along insurance policy and riders, but they were the wrong
ones (wrong fields).
Dave
Wilson, Registrar: Still ongoing. Box is still outside
his house for people who want to drop off info on new players. Get stuff in by
Tues to get reg card in time for Saturday game. Can add players throughout the
season.
Luis
Medina, Webmaster: Requested that if a team picks up
someone from the bulletin board, please tell Luis so that he can remove their
name.
Kara
Gilman, Field Coordinator: Absent. Kixx representative
said she reported everything OK. She still needs insurance forms from Tony (the
right ones).
Brian
Peddinghaus, Referee Coordinator: All went well last
weekend. No complaints. Has 6-7 good refs lined up for rest of season. Sandra
Ward pointed out that the game cards did not have addresses on the back. Or
worse yet, they had old addresses. Managers asked to throw these cards away and
use new cards. Secretary said she’d pass the info to Luis who could make it
available on the web site. (We’ll try to make another form that can be printed
and copied two-sided.) Send all ref forms to Brain Peddinghaus 10482 River Drive Forestville, CA 95436
Old
Business Kick Around is still scheduled for Memorial
Day. June 25th is reserved for make-up
games. That will be the last weekend of the season. Investor’s Trust tourney still on for
second week in July. Might do 6 Marin teams and 6 Sonoma teams. Question was
raised whether or not Galvin was available that late. Antonio asked Luis to
check on using Comstock fields for that one day. Rolf has not yet collected the Fort Bragg
tourney info. Will for next meeting.
New
Business Grass on Galvin fields was really long. Kixx
representative was asked to have Kara call city. Dave Wilson will call too. Please contact Dave Wilson re: ongoing
registration concerns: 838-7770 (H) and 543-3444 (fax).

Next
scheduled meeting: Sunday May 1st at the Round Table Pizza on Marlow (at Guerneville Road, in the Safeway
shopping center) at 6:30 p.m.
