SCASCL January 9, 2005 meeting

1. Meeting called to order at 6:35 PM, role call:

Teams attending: Anarchy, Black Oaks, Bushwhackers, Forestville United, Kixx, Jabaneros, Just4fun, Outsiders, Mercury, Shockers, Sonoma United and Empire football (formerly Rockets).

Teams absent: Red Barons, Salsa, SR United and Sebastopol United.

1.     Reports:

 President- Justin Conner, nothing.

Vice-President- Antonio Rosales, teams interested in tournament in May. Will contact Marin teams if interested.

Treasurer- Tony Mazolla, balance of around $1,900 as of Dec. 2004. Some team deposits and fees still need to be paid.

Registrar- Dave Wilson, make copies of last year registration forms and white out 2004 and put in 2005. Each player must have new form. New players must also have ID to validate age. Must have money at next meeting February 6, 2005 6:30PM at Round table pizza at corner of Marlow and Guerneville road to be in league. Deadline for players is February 13. Any questions call Dave at 838-7770 home or 479-2220 cell. The team’s fee for league will be $650.

      Secretary- Sarah Martin absent, Antonio Rosales sat in to cover.

2.     Old business:

New Field coordinator - Cara Gilman

“       Referee coordinator – Brian Peddinghaus, alternate – Richard Vives

“      Public relations/league program on line – Luis Medina  

“       Disciplinary committee – Antonio Rosales, Rolf Stevens and Sandra Ward.

     League phone number/ hot line – 525-4885, Justin Conner to maintain.

     Insurance for league – Tony Mazzola.

The fees for field markings for last year were around $2,700. This issue was placed on hold until next meeting to see if teams want to pay this year for marking of fields.

3.     New business:

The fees for this year were raised from $450 to $650 as per vote by teams attending due to low reserves and possible fees to mark fields.

Luis Medina will be taking over online program for league and will be paid $600 to maintain, $20 a month to run and $25 to set up on line.

If anyone can help find fields to use let Cara Gilman or Antonio Rosales at 525-6065, we need to know ASAP. Thank you in advance.
